JUST THINKIN' . . . a devotional by Jim Green

SCRIPTURE: “A firstborn donkey may be bought back from the Lord by presenting a lamb or young goat in its place. But if you do not buy it back, you must break its neck. However, you must buy back every firstborn son.” Ex 34:20a NLT

SEE IT:  Bouncing mig

JIMISM:  6630. Don’t lose sight where you were, lest you forget where you are. JG

LIVE IT:  My background is in construction and metal fabrication, but it was never my intention to go back to manufacturing after leaving it to pursue computer technology.  But things happen in the course of life. Without an adequate source for steel doors I was selling, I bought and started using a welding unit to make my own. Years later, I gave that welder away choosing another career before reclaiming it not long ago when it was given back to me. The welder is not in good shape today having been exposed to rain but sitting in storage it can be restored to working order if needed.  History’s proven anything can happen.

PRAY IT: Thank you, God, that You use and profit from what most discard.

FIND IT:  Possession; Give; Reclaim

APPLY IT: Consider everything I have as a resource needing to be used.

Don’t lose sight where you were, lest you forget where you are.
